When you book with The Wash Wagon you are agreeing to our terms and conditions listed below. Once the quote is accepted and an appointment is made you are bound under the terms and conditions.
Our Service Terms & Conditions:
1.0 We may ask where you heard about The Wash Wagon in order to gauge our marketing strategies.
1.1 We may from time to time conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
1.2 If there is probable and clear cause that the service did not fulfil the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship. We will redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the package.
1.3 The Wash Wagon offers superb workmanship, but our work can be subject to weather conditions. If we arrive at the agreed destination and the weather is poor, we will have to re-arrange for another convenient time for the work to be carried out. This will be at no extra cost to the customer.
1.4 All payments must be made on receipt of the invoice, upon completion of the service.
1.5 Our operation encompasses an area of a radius of approximately 20 miles from the PL14 postcode. Work carried out outside of this area may be subject to further costs to reflect additional mileage.
1.6 The Wash Wagon will carry out a pre-work inspection of the vehicle with the customer to identify and highlight any imperfections/damages, sometimes these imperfections/damages could be hidden and become visible after the vehicle has been cleaned.
Photos and/or videos will be taken to document any imperfections/damages prior to work commencing, if you are aware of any imperfections/damages already, you must notify The Wash Wagon prior to works commencing.
1.7 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our services our carried out to the highest possible standard. The customer is advised to check the vehicle(s) on completion. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the customer should point out the discrepancy to The Wash Wagon, who will endeavour to correct it as far as reasonably practicable.
1.8 Any photos and/or videos that The Wash Wagon have taken will not be used or shared in any way whatsoever unless consent is given by the Client upon completion of the work.
Booking Terms & Conditions:
2.0 Customers should remove all personal belongings, money, and any other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of valeting/detailing.
2.1 The Wash Wagon will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property.
2.2 All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes.
2.3 We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and/or machinery or equipment failure.
2.4 With any viewing/booking made The Wash Wagon requires the customers address, package required, vehicle condition, and whether there is use of an outside water source (tap) and electrical source (13amp plug socket) a 5% discount will be applied for the use of both electric and water.
2.5 The Wash Wagon reserves the right to refuse or deny customers’ demands above and beyond the booking detailing.
2.6 The Wash Wagon will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered.
2.7 Timings for the completion of the package bought are given as an estimate. The time taken to do the vehicle can take either longer or shorter than the original time span given. We will keep you informed on the day if we feel the job will take longer or shorter than originally expected.
Pricing Terms & Conditions:
3.0 The Wash Wagon reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle, upgrade/downgrade of package, and the customer location.
3.1 All prices given via email or phone are purely an estimate based on the make, model and condition of the vehicle, The Wash Wagon would visit the vehicle at a convenient time to assess the condition before giving a final quote, the package and price will be discussed in person and followed up with a finalised quote for acceptance to then book in the package required.
3.2 Upon accepting the provided quote a 20% deposit of the package price will be required to secure the booking slot arranged.
3.3 As stated in 1.4 All payments must be made upon receipt of the invoice, on completion of the service. If payment isn’t made on the same day the job has been completed, after 7 days there will be a late payment charge of £5.00 per day until the full amount has been settled.
3.4 The Wash Wagon accepts Cash, PayPal, Bank Transfer & Card (2% fee applies to card transactions).
Cancellation Terms & Conditions:
4.0 We require 48 hour’s notice to cancel/rearrange any bookings. Unless you inform us of any exceptional circumstances.
4.1 Failure to provide 48 hours advance notice of cancellation will result in a charge of 20% of the package price (the deposit).
4.2 As stated in 1.3 The Wash Wagon offers superb workmanship, but our work can be subject to weather conditions. If we arrive at the agreed destination and the weather is poor, then we will arrange another convenient time for the work to be completed. This will be at no extra cost to the customer.
4.4 Failure to be present at the time and location of the booking will result in the remaining 80% value of the package booked being charged.
The Vehicle Terms & Conditions:
5.0 The Wash Wagon will carry out a vehicle inspection prior to commencement of work. This is not only to protect us but to protect you the customer as well. All Vehicles will be checked over for any dents and scratches before the service takes place. We will notify the customer after the service has been completed if any damage is found. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill-fitting trim, loose or faulty parts. Please make us aware of any problems before we start.
5.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that all contents and valuables are removed from the vehicle prior to our arrival. The Wash Wagon shall accept no liability for lost valuables or personal belongings left in the vehicle.
5.2 Old/New or non-original paintwork can be damaged in the cleaning process if there is pre-existing damage which may not be visible prior to the wash process. All such defects shall be indicated to The Wash Wagon prior to commencement of the service. We reserve the right to refuse to carry out the service.
5.3 Our determination of the size, category or degree of time required to complete the work shall be final and binding.
5.4 If you have booked an interior detail, please make sure your vehicle is in a reasonable condition by removing excess items from the interior and boot area. Either remove all your personal belongings, or put them in a bag away from rubbish that we will clear. Items that may resemble rubbish could be considered disposable and therefore, removed. We will not be held responsible in such a situation.
5.5 Clients should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any of our services.
5.6 The Wash Wagon will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle.
5.7 Child seats must be removed and refitted by you, we will NOT refit seats under any circumstances.
5.8 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our services are carried out to the highest possible standard, the Client is advised to check the vehicle(s) on completion. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the Client should point out the discrepancy to The Wash Wagon, who will endeavour to correct it.
5.9 No responsibility can be accepted by The Wash Wagon for omissions or discrepancies detected after we have left the Client premises. Should the valet be carried out with the ‘Client not present’ and the Client has cause for complaint, the Client is asked to contact The Wash Wagon within 24 hours of service completion. Should the Client fail to adhere to this time scale we may decline to rectify any omissions or discrepancies.
